About the Role
We are seeking team members for baking, cooking & spinning ice cream in our production kitchen. Our kitchen is located at our flagship store in Palmetto Bay, FL. You will be responsible for working off a prep list and working with your team to accomplish the day’s production tasks of baking, prepping, and spinning ice cream. This position requires strong attention to detail, a high level of cleanliness, and a positive attitude for working with a team.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining a positive, helpful attitude
Working with hustle, speed, and efficiency.
Staying focused and on task throughout your shift.
Motivated to learn new skills and assist other team members when needed.
Following proper food handling & safety standards.
Cleaning, sanitizing, assisting in ice cream prep, ice cream making and/or baking.
Preparing sauces, toppings, baked goods, and flavor ingredients for ice creams.
Learn techniques and procedures on how to prep workstations, follow precise recipes and cleaning procedures for ice cream making & baking.
Packing & labeling ice cream for distribution.
Additional Notes/Schedule Requirement:
Must be available to work daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays or as needed by the business.
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic math skills
Weekend availability
Leads by example
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs - including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Detail oriented
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time
Climbing up and down ladders or stairs from time-to-time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Working Environment:
Exposure to extreme cold when working near freezers
Dress code is appropriate casual
