About the Role
We are seeking awesome ice cream scoopers to work in our front of house (FOH) in our scoop shops. We are seeking candidates who excel at customer service and want to serve customers the best ice cream & cookies in the world. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greeting and helping customers
Provide stellar customer service and hospitality
Scooping delicious ice cream with precision, making milkshakes & sundaes
Maintaining cleanliness and organization standards of the shop
Operating the point-of-sale system and handling cash
Opening and closing duties as needed
Additional Notes/Schedule Requirement:
Must be available to work daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays or as needed by the business.
Basic math skills and ability to use a point-of-sale system
Weekend availability a must
Firm belief in the value of being genuinely hospitable to all customers
A commitment to creating a hospitality driven culture within your shop
Leads by example
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs - including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time
Climbing up and down ladders or stairs from time-to-time
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Exposure to extreme cold when working near freezers
Dress code is appropriate casual
